FixUp Experts

Terms of Service

Plain-English terms for using fixupexperts.com.

Last updated: May 13, 2026

1. About These Terms

This website (fixupexperts.com) is operated by FixUp Experts, a sole proprietorship owned by Nikolai Alekseev in Spring, Texas. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. These terms govern your use of the site only — the work we actually perform on your property is governed by a separate written contract.

2. Estimate Requests Are Not a Contract

Submitting a form on this website (estimate request, contact form, or otherwise) does not create a contract for work. It's an invitation for us to follow up and discuss your project. We may decline any project, for any reason, before a signed agreement. Once we deliver a written estimate and you both agree to terms in writing, that signed agreement — not anything on this site — governs the work.

3. Estimates Are Valid for 30 Days

Any estimate we provide is valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless we specify otherwise in writing. Material prices and our project schedule can change — after 30 days we'll review the estimate before honoring it.

4. Pricing Information on This Site

Starting prices shown on service pages (e.g., "From $1,495") are illustrative starting points based on typical project scope. Actual prices depend on your specific project conditions, materials selected, scope, site access, and applicable permits. The only binding price is one delivered in a written estimate after an on-site visit.

5. Photos and Reviews

Project photos on this site are from real FixUp Experts projects with client permission. We do not use stock photography, AI-generated renders, or borrowed images. Reviews displayed on this site come from our verified Google Business Profile and are reproduced with the original wording.

6. License & Insurance

FixUp Experts operates under Texas law as a residential remodeling and carpentry contractor. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Texas does not require a state-level general contractor license, but we comply with all applicable local permitting requirements for the work we perform. Proof of insurance is available on request before any project starts.

7. Warranty

Completed projects come with a 1-year workmanship warranty starting on the date of project completion. The warranty covers defects in our workmanship — it does not cover damage from misuse, weather events, third-party modifications, or normal wear and tear. Manufacturer warranties on materials (cabinets, fixtures, tile, etc.) are separate and pass through to you per the manufacturer's terms. Full warranty terms are spelled out in your project contract.

8. Content Ownership

All content on this site — written copy, project photos, the FixUp Experts logo and brand, page designs — is owned by FixUp Experts. You may share links to our pages freely, and quote brief excerpts for non-commercial purposes (e.g., recommending us to a neighbor). You may not republish our content, photos, or design on another website or in printed materials without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Links

This site may link to third-party websites (Google reviews, manufacturer pages, articles). We don't control those sites, are not responsible for their content, and linking to them doesn't imply endorsement of anything they sell or claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties (Website Use)

The website itself is provided "as is." We work hard to keep prices, descriptions, and project photos accurate, but we don't warrant the site will always be available, error-free, or up to date in real time. If you spot an error, email us at alekseevn@fixupexperts.com and we'll fix it.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Texas law, FixUp Experts is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. This does not limit our liability for the actual work we perform on your property — that is governed by your signed project contract.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes about the website itself will be resolved in the courts of Montgomery County, Texas.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms.
