Nick comes to your home, walks the project with you, takes measurements, looks at the existing conditions (plumbing, electrical, framing, anything behind the walls that's relevant), and answers questions. Allow 45–90 minutes depending on scope. We don't bring a sales team or pressure you to sign on the spot — the visit is for understanding the project, not closing.
You receive a detailed line-item PDF estimate within 2 business days of the visit. Not a one-page bullet summary — the actual scope of work broken down by phase (demo, plumbing, electrical, framing, finishes, etc.) with specific material specifications and labor allocations. You can compare this directly to other contractor bids item by item.
You take time to review. We expect questions and we revise the estimate as scope evolves — that's normal and expected. There's no pressure to commit on a timeline that doesn't work for you. Once the scope and price are agreed, we sign a written contract that protects both parties and schedules the start date.
